FINANCIAL SUPPORT
By submitting an abstract, you get the opportunity to share and present your work during the congress, and you may also have the chance to be selected for one of the grants below:
SNFMI (Société Nationale Française de Médecine Interne)
- 10 free registration offered
- For junior interns that are members of the SNFMI
- Awarded upon abstract acceptance
SFR (Société Française de Rhumatologie)
- 2 grants of €1,500
- For rheumatology residents (REF members of the SFR)
- Must be first author of an accepted abstract

SJÖGREN EUROPE
- 2 grants of €500
- Awarded to abstracts presenting projects or research oriented by or focused on patients unmet needs, which will result in meaningful impact for patients and/or health outcomes
- Special attention will be given to research designed or developed with patients.
The person submitting the abstract needs first to identify the presenting author who must be registered to the congress just after notification, in order to present his/her abstract.
As the primary contact for the abstract, the presenting author will be responsible for:
- communicating to all co-authors regarding the acceptance of the abstract.
- obtaining conflict of interest disclosures from them.
Please respect the following instructions for the preparation of your abstract:
Your abstract must not exceed 500 words.
Up to two figures, tables, or other graphical elements may be included in your abstract submission.
Abstracts may be submitted in two categories: Physicians or Patients, depending on the profile of the main author and the focus of the work presented.
All abstracts will be considered. They will be selected by the Scientific Committee for presentation or poster form.
You need to select the topics of your abstract. There are 6 topics:
- Patients perspectives
- New diagnostic tools
- Pathogenic aspects
- Clinical aspects
- Treatments
- Clinical trials
There is no limit on the number of abstracts that may be submitted by any author.
Following sections are required:
- Background
- Aim
- Methods
- Results
- Discussions / Conclusion
All presentations will be accepted based on quality, relevance and space availability after review by the Scientific Program Committee.
Upon acceptance, the ISSjD Organizing Committee reserves the right to publish the submitted abstracts in the congress proceedings, website, or other related materials. Submission implies consent for such use without additional approval from the author(s).
